On the heels of my first post, I have something I want to talk about. I think many of the feelings of about Mitt Romney's religion are completely off-base and miss the point of what the questions should be. The focus seems to be much of the controversial past of the LDS Church. If one were considering converting to the religion those questions may be more valid and definitely understandable. However, those that bring up the various policies and doctrines aren't interested in answers, rather they would legitimize their dislike for Romney. When in fact, all they really do is demonstrate their own ignorance, and willful ignorance at that. If someone wanted to, they could find out about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, its doctrines, policies, and how its members lived their lives.
